Diwali Dinner 2010 
 Hindu Awareness Organization of North America, a non-proft non-political, Organization organized a Dinner to celebrate Diwali on 31st Oct.2010 at Woodbine Banquet Hall, Rexdale. A large number of guests including Businessmen, Political, Religious and Community leaders were present in this function. Media too was prominently visible with their presence.
Chaman Mujral, Chairman of the Organization welcomed the guests and speaking on this occasion talked about aims, objectives and activities of HAONA. Hon'ble Navdeep Singh Bains, M.P., Hon'ble Davinder Shory, M.P. from Calgary and Madam Charan Dassi, Consulate from Indian Consulate Office spoke on this occasion.
While congratulating the organizers of this event and wishing Happy Diwali to all, they praised the efforts of HAONA for bringing awareness about Hinduism and unity of Hindus and expected HAONA shall contribute to the success of pluralism in Canada.
Congratulatory messages were also received from Hon'ble Jason Kenney, Minister Immigration, Citizenship and Multiculturalism, Hon'ble Deepak Obhrai, M.P. and Hon'ble Dr. Ruby Dhalla, M.P.
Dr. Sharda who was the M.C. of the event, also thanked and welcomed the guests and acknowledged and honoured the Sponsors of the function.
